After several months without publishing anything, I decided to start the new look with a new section: Don't just sit there, DRAW SOMETHING!! The idea came from Alberto Ruiz, he inspired me to keep drawing and it is ALWAYS a good moment to dra, right?

I finally finished it!!! After all the problems I had, I think it is not so bad. There was a couple times I was so frustated with it... But, here it is, the result of my work!! I will tell you guys when the votations comes up because it is also part of a challenge in Gameartisans. Some critiques are also welcome!!

This is a new challenge that I am participating at http://www.gameartisans.org . The Challenge is about to make an elemental, so this is my choice, a water elemental. I was inspired by abyssal creatures in the ocean. First I practised the silhouette and some variations of them... The result is the one in color (it is just a test) which is a mixture of two of the designs.

These are my new uvw map and some tests of the texture. It is not the definitive model because çi have been doubting so much about it, but I almost have it. I hope next week I have the texture. Also... I am still testing with the eyes...

My friend Daniel Orive and me created a challenge for us: it had to be a warrior and also an anthropomorphic animal. So, in 2 hours and a half, we had to make some silhouettes and a fast sketch. And this is the result, I hope to make more fast sketches, keep the mind so awake.

I finally did it!! I finished her and it is in the challenge! It was a hard process, mostly the end, but I feel proud that I finished in time. These are the links in Gameartisans, the post and the gallery where the final submision is.
Next thing I'm gonna do is a turn arroud of the character, just to see the lights and how the specullar affects to the model. This is just the first of many characters in 3d!!
